I’m Tahlia, a brand and event photographer + Videographer based in Victoria.
I work with service-based businesses, community organisers and experience-led brands who want photos and video that actually show what it feels like to work with them.
Not just what they look like.
Because anyone can say they create a supportive space, deliver high-quality work, or care deeply about their clients, but photography and video helps people actually see it and believe it.(because all your competitors are saying the same thing)
This is why I do it this way
When it came time to choose between law and photography, I chose photography.
But I knew I didn’t want to create photos to hang on walls.
I wanted my photos to have a purpose.
Alongside photography, I’ve worked in marketing across multiple businesses. I’ve built websites, managed social media and know the difference between photos that look nice and photos people actually use.
And when I started running my own business, I realised just how hard it is to show people what actually makes you different.
Because your work isn’t always just the finished result.
It’s how you welcome someone into your space.
How you explain something.
How you interact with clients.
How much thought goes into the details nobody else sees.
It’s the stuff that makes someone choose you, but it’s also usually the stuff nobody is capturing.
What you actually get when you work with me
I hear it all the time.
“I’m awkward in photos.”
“I don’t know how to pose.”
And that’s why I don’t approach shoots like a traditional photoshoot.
I photograph businesses the same way I photograph events.
You do the things you already do…. teach the class, work with your clients, run the event, bring people together and I capture the moments happening naturally.
Because that is usually the stuff your clients actually connect with.

I’m the eldest daughter, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter… basically, you can trust everything will be covered.
I love hosting people, hearing everyone’s stories, op shopping, podcasts, and I have a small jungle of houseplants that are constantly waiting to be repotted.
I’m not afraid to look a bit silly if it helps everyone else relax.
I’ve sat in women’s circles, gone to community festivals where strangers welcomed me without question, am currently learing pole dance, and experienced how much the spaces people create can matter. That’s why I care about documenting them.
Because whether it’s a business, workshop, event, or experience, there is something beautiful about people who dedicate their work to helping others, bringing people together, or creating something they believe in.
I’m just there to help more people see it.
