Get photos and video of your business while you’re actually working
A 2-hour photo and video session for hands-on service businesses that need better content, but are usually too busy doing the actual work to capture it themselves.

50+ edited photos
20+ video clips
$550
Delivered within 2 weeks.
You’re probably not short on content ideas
You’re short on someone actually capturing them.
You go into a job thinking:
Right. Today I’m actually going to remember to get some photos.
Then you start working.
Someone asks you something. A client arrives. Something needs fixing. You get into the flow.
And suddenly the day is over and your camera roll contains one random video from 9:13am and a photo you accidentally took of the floor.
You forget
You had all these ideas for what you wanted to capture.
Then the actual job happened.
Fair enough.
You physically can’t
Sometimes you are literally the person doing the thing that needs photographing.
Turns out being in front of and behind the camera at the same time is difficult.
You end up using the same stuff
Same old website photos.
Same four images rotated through Instagram.
Same phone shot because technically it is better than nothing.
Meanwhile, all the useful stuff is happening while you work.
How you speak to clients.
How you set things up.
How you solve problems.
What the process looks like.
What someone can actually expect if they book you.
That’s the stuff I’m there to capture.
Turns out, this works pretty well in real businesses
I’ve now tested this approach with more than 10 businesses. Different industries. Different spaces, and the same feedback keeps coming up. It feels natural, I fit around what’s happening, and people end up with a lot more usable content than they expected.
I made this because I wanted it for my own business
I come from event photography, I spend my working days photographing everyone else.
Which means I have very few photos of me actually holding my camera, interacting with clients or doing any of the things I’m supposedly asking people to hire me for.
I tried making content myself.
I forgot.
I asked friends to help.
Love them, very grateful, but they’re not photographers, videographers or marketers.
What I wanted was someone who understood what I was doing, knew how to work around me and could recognise the stuff that would actually be useful later.
So I basically made that service.
Captured While You Work is the shoot I still wish someone would come and do for me.
So what actually is Captured While You Work?
Pretty much exactly what it sounds like.
I come to you while you’re working and capture what’s already happening. Not a fake working day, or two hours pretending to answer emails at a laptop. Your actual work.
You work
Run the class, do the job, serve the client, make the thing.
I move around you
I photograph and film without turning the whole day into a production.
We get the useful stuff
People, process, service, details, interactions and finished work.
You get a content bank
Photos and clips you can actually use later.
How much do I have to plan?
As much or as little as you want
Before the session, you fill in a simple questionnaire.
That tells me what your business does, what’s happening on the day, what matters to you and whether there’s anything specific you want captured.
After that, you choose how involved you want to be.
Option A: Curate the day a bit
You might:
- organise a particular client
- get the team together
- hire a location
- schedule a certain service
- bring in someone you specifically want photographed
Option B: Just book me on a normal day
That works too
I turn up, you work, and we see what happens.
What changes after the shoot?
You stop starting from scratch every time you need to market your business
One of the biggest wins is just having options.
Instead of sitting down to post something and spending ten minutes scrolling through your camera roll trying to find a photo that vaguely fits, you’ve got a proper folder of things to use.
Use it for:
- your website
- Reels
- ads
- Google Business Profile
- case studies
- email marketing
- service pages
- brochures
- posters
- directories
- PR
- launches
And show people:
- what you do
- how you do it
- what the process looks like
- who they’ll actually be dealing with
- what the client experience feels like
- the quality of your work
- what happens behind the finished result
- why your service costs what it costs
The goal is for someone to binge your website and socials and already have a pretty decent idea of whether they want to work with you.
That makes for a much nicer enquiry than having to explain your entire business from scratch every time.
Two hours. A fairly ridiculous amount of useful content.
Here’s what I’m looking for while you work.

The polished stuff
Professional brand photos you can use on your website, socials, ads, brochures and wherever else you need to look like the business you actually run.
50+ edited photos included.

You being an actual person
Natural photos of you and your team.
Yes, we can get the nice smiling-at-the-camera photo too. (Your About page probably needs one.)
But most of the time I’d rather photograph you while you’re actually doing something.

The client experience
What does it actually look like to work with you?
The environment, the interaction, the setup, the service.
The bits a new client would normally have to imagine.

The process
Sometimes the finished result isn’t the bit that proves you know what you’re doing.
It’s everything that happened before it.
So I’m looking for the work, decisions and problem-solving too.
Yep, you get video too
Your session includes at least 20 individual video clips.
Most are around 5–15 seconds long.
They’re trimmed so you’re not getting the weird bit before something happens or three seconds of someone walking awkwardly out of frame.
They’re colour graded and ready to use.
Some footage is captured on camera and some is captured on iPhone so it feels more at home on social media.
Use them for Reels, Stories, websites, ads or hand them to whoever does your marketing.
What you don’t get
A finished edited Reel. No music. No captions. No fancy transitions.
You get the useful building blocks so you can turn them into whatever you need.

About Me
I’m a photographer and content creator, and before this offer existed, I spent a lot of time working in events, marketing and social media for service businesses.
Which is useful here because I’m not only looking for a technically nice photo. I’m thinking about what that photo could actually do later.
Could this work on the homepage?….Does this explain the service?…..Would that clip work in a Reel?…
I’m constantly thinking about what will actually be useful while I’m shooting.
I’ll dance around and make a fool of myself because you’re getting too aware of the camera and I’d rather you laugh at me.
I can read a room. And with this kind of shoot, that’s pretty useful.

This Isn’t For Everyone, And That’s Fine
You’re a fit if:
- You run a hands-on service or experience-based business.
- You work with people in person.
- You want people to see what your service actually looks like before they enquire.
- You want useful photos and video without turning it into a massive production.
- You’re happy for the session to be fairly documentary and natural.
- You care more about attracting the right clients than becoming internet famous.
You’re probably not a fit if:
- Most of your service happens online or behind a computer.
- You need dedicated product photography.
- You have a very specific campaign that needs exact scenes.
- You want every shot heavily staged or directed.
- You need scripts.
- You need complicated lighting or a full production crew.
- You want finished Reels or edited videos handed over ready to post.

The questions people usually have
If “get better content” has been sitting on your to-do list for six months…
This is your chance to actually get it sorted.
You don’t need to become better at remembering to film yourself, you don’t need another content plan, and you definitely don’t need to balance your phone against a pot plant and hope for the best.
Book the session.
Then within two weeks, you’ve got a proper bank of photos and video clips ready for the next time your business needs to show up somewhere.
