A photo and video shoot for the parts of your business people need to see.
Your business may have changed, grown or added new services, while your photos and videos still show only one part of it.
A Full picture session gives us time to plan what’s most useful to capture, then build a more complete library around your main priority: updating your website, launching a service, bringing more intention to social media, or a mix of the three.
Give future clients more reasons to want to work with you.
Your business may have changed, grown or added new services, while your photos and videos still show only one part of it.
Maybe you’re updating your website and need images for more than one page. Maybe you’ve added a service, or you’re ready to take your social content more seriously.
You might already have a VA, admin person or marketer helping with updates, but not enough current photos and video to work with. Or you may have ideas, but need help deciding what to capture and how the pieces fit together.
We’ll choose a clear priority, make a practical content plan and build the shoot around what your business needs to show.
What Businesses are saying
Shoots feel natural, I fit around what’s happening, and people end up with a lot more content than they expected.
Video that captures the experience
Meet the Full picture session
A full picture session is a planned day inside your actual business, capturing the work, people, expertise and personality already there through professional photos and videos.
Choose the focus for your shoot
Website-first
We’ll plan around the pages or services that need better visuals. That might include the people clients meet, how a service works, your space, your process and the details that help someone understand what you offer.
Socials-first
We’ll plan a varied set of photos and video for your social content. This could include your work in action, natural spoken explanations, team moments and finished edits built around the strongest material.
A mix of both
We’ll decide what needs to work across your website and social media, then prioritise the assets that will be most useful in both places.
The goal is for someone to binge your website and socials and already have a pretty decent idea of whether they want to work with you.
That makes for a much nicer enquiry than having to explain your entire business from scratch every time.
What’s included?
Up to 7 hours together
Stay at one place for the whole day or move between different jobs, services and nearby locations. The whole 7 hours don’t need to be maximised or used this just allows for flexibility
Planning beforehand
We’ll have a call and work out what you actually need content of, what you’ve already got plenty of and where our time will be best spent.
Professional photo library
An edited gallery covering the people, services, projects and parts of the business.
Colour-graded video clips
Individual 5 – 15 second clips delivered ready for you to turn into your own Reels and other content.
Finished web or social videos
The strongest topics and conversations we capture are turned into finished videos. For social edits they include clean edits, hooks, on-screen captions and a CTA where it makes sense. Scope of videos are confirmed during the planning call
A Full picture session could look like…

BUILDER / TRADIE
Start onsite documenting a job underway, head to another project that’s at a completely different stage, swing past something you’ve recently finished and grab some updated team photos while everyone’s around.

HAIR / BEAUTY
Capture a few different services with real clients from start to finish without having to set up a tripod. Capture the the team working, consultations and client interactions, the space and results.

FITNESS / WELLNESS
Classes, one-on-one sessions, how you work with clients, the space, team photos and educational content around the things you’re explaining to clients anyway. All done in a day

MAKER / CREATIVE
Follow something being made, photograph the finished work, show the process behind it, capture the studio and get you talking about the choices, skill and thinking that go into what you create.
How it works
1. We figure out the day
We’ll jump on a call beforehand and look at what you’re actually trying to market.
What services need better photos? What projects are worth showing? Do we need the team? Are there gaps on the website?
Then we’ll work backwards from there and plan the day.
2. Shoot day
Based on the loose plan created. We meet up, and I start shooting.
Some things we’ll deliberately set up because we know we need them. The rest I’ll capture while the work is actually happening.
3. You actually have content to work with
You’ll get your edited photos and colour-graded video clips through an online gallery, ready to start using wherever you need them.
And if we’ve created finished social videos from the day, they’ll arrive ready to post too.
So how do the Reels actually work?
On the day someone on the team (usually the owner) gets mic’d up while they’re working.
I’m not handing them a script or asking them to remember six talking points. I’ll prompt them with questions as we go to get natural opinions, explanations, useful information..
At the same time, I’m photographing and filming everything around them.
The strongest audio is then paired with the photos and videos, so we’re not just watching someone stand in front of the camera and talk.
I then edit it together and deliver it ready for you to post, just add a cover photo and a caption.
Is a Full picture session actually right for you?
You’re a fit if:
- You have multiple things you need content of.
- Your current photos + video only show a small part of what the business actually does.
- You want to update your website and/or socials.
- You need a mixture of professional photos and video.
- You or someone on your team handles marketing, but could use better content and guidance
- You’d rather get a decent amount done in one shoot than keep trying to remember to capture things yourself.
You’re probably not a fit if:
- You only have one service, project or session you need documented.
- Everything you want to capture can comfortably happen within two hours.
- You don’t need planning beforehand.
- You just want a fresh batch of professional photos + video clips while you’re working.
- In that case, Captured While You Work is probably enough.
