Turn one great project into more than a before-and-after
Multi-visit photography + video that follows a real project, giving you useful content throughout the project and a proper case study once it’s finished.
Build the kind of proof that helps future clients understand why they should work with you before they ever enquire.
From $2200
The finished result is only part of what you’re selling.
Most businesses document a project in one of two ways.
A quick before-and-after.
Or a photographer comes out once everything is finished and looking pretty.
But if that’s all you show, you’re missing most of the stuff that actually demonstrates why someone should choose you.
That’s what Project Stories are designed to capture.
What Businesses are saying
Shoots Feel natural, I fit around what’s happening, and people end up with a lot more content than they expected.
Meet Project Stories
Project Stories are for businesses whose work unfolds over multiple stages and is worth documenting from process to outcome.
Rather than booking one shoot, I come back at key points throughout one project. Each visit gives us another piece of the story and another batch of content you can start using straight away.
Content as you go
Professional photos, video clips and 2 finished Reels from every visit. You don’t need to wait until the project is over before you get anything useful.
A bigger content library
Instead of one folder of finished-project photos, you end up with assets showing the work, team, process, expertise, progress and final result.
A proper case study
Once the project is finished, everything we’ve captured comes together into a longer Project Story film you can use across your website, socials and sales process.
If you want more work like this, give people more than the finished result
A Project Story isn’t about documenting every second of a job for the sake of it.
We’re deliberately capturing the parts that help someone understand what they’re actually paying for and what makes your business worth choosing.
SHOW THE PROCESS
Help people understand what actually goes into delivering the finished result.
MAKE YOUR EXPERTISE VISIBLE
Capture the decisions, explanations and problem solving that normally happen onsite and disappear afterwards.
SHOW WHO THEY’RE HIRING
Let future clients see the team behind the work and get some sense of the personalities they’ll actually be dealing with.
ATTRACT MORE OF THIS WORK
Turn a strong project into a properly documented example you can point to when you want more enquiries for something similar.
The goal is for someone to binge your website and socials and already have a pretty decent idea of whether they want to work with you.
That makes for a much nicer enquiry than having to explain your entire business from scratch every time.
What’s included at every visit?
UP TO 2 HOURS ONSITE
Focused on the stage we’ve deliberately chosen to document.
PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Edited photos of the work, progress, team and anything particularly important from that visit.
COLOUR-GRADED VIDEO CLIPS
Individual clips delivered for you or whoever handles your marketing to continue using.
MIC’D UP AUDIO
Natural explanations, opinions, information and updates captured while someone from the team is actually working.
2 FINISHED REELS
The strongest audio is paired with the visual content from the visit and turned into two finished vertical videos.

Then we turn the whole project into one story
By the final visit, I don’t just have footage of a nice finished project. I’ve got the starting point, different stages of work, conversations from onsite, decisions being explained while they’re actually relevant, the team, the problems that came up and finally, what you delivered.
That becomes your finished Project Story film.
It’ll still show the quality of the work and make the finished result look good. But I’m not aiming to make a montage of pretty shots, cut to a sterile sit-down interview and some elevator music.
I want it to feel like the project we’ve actually been following.
A little more raw and conversational, while still clearly communicating the value, process, expertise and result. Something you can put on a project page, use across your service pages or send directly to someone considering hiring you for something similar.
So how do the Reels actually work?
At every visit, someone involved in that stage of the project gets mic’d up while they’re working.
I’m not handing them a script or asking them to remember six talking points. I’ll prompt them with questions as we go to get natural opinions, explanations, useful information and project updates out of the work that’s already happening.
At the same time, I’m photographing and filming everything around them.
The strongest audio is then paired with the photos and video from the visit, so we’re not just watching someone stand in front of the camera and talk. We hear them explaining the work while we’re actually seeing it happen.
Each visit gives you 2 finished vertical Reels, alongside the individual photos and video clips.

How it works
Plan the project story
We’ll start with a call to go through the project, what you’re working on, the timeline, the kind of work you want more of and what would actually be useful to capture.
From there, we’ll decide whether 2, 3 or 4 visits make sense and map out the stages we’d ideally like to document.
We don’t need exact shoot dates locked in yet. We’re working out what’s worth capturing and roughly when it’s likely to happen.
Capture the first stage
When we hit the first stage we’ve planned for, I’ll come onsite for up to two hours.
Someone involved in the project gets mic’d up, I’ll prompt the conversation while they work and capture the professional photography + video around what’s happening.
After the visit, you’ll receive the photos, colour-graded clips and 2 finished Reels from that stage.
Keep me in the loop
You keep working and keep me updated as the project progresses.
We’ll lock in each remaining visit based on what’s actually happening onsite rather than forcing the project to fit dates we chose months earlier.
Then we repeat the process — capture the stage, get someone talking, and turn it into another batch of photos, clips and finished content.
Finish the story
At the final visit, we’ll properly document the completed project and anything else we need to finish the story.
Then I’ll pull together what we’ve captured across every visit — the progress, work, conversations, decisions, people and final result — into your finished Project Story film.
By the end, you’ve got the finished case study and all the content you’ve already been receiving throughout the project.
Is a Project Story actually right for you?
You’re a fit if:
- Your project unfolds across multiple stages.
- It’s a strong example of the type of work you want more of.
- There’s useful process, expertise or problem solving worth showing.
- You have someone who’s happy to get mic’d up while they work.
- You want content for more than one social post.
- You want a proper project case study once it’s finished.
You’re probably not a fit if:
- The whole job happens in a couple of hours.
- There’s only one stage worth photographing.
- You just need some fresh photos + video clips.
- You don’t need the deeper project story or finished content.
Captured While You Work or a Content Day will probably make more sense instead.

About Me
I’m a photographer and content creator, but I’ve also spent a lot of time working in marketing and social media for service businesses and, briefly, onsite myself as a fabricator and labourer.
So I understand that a worksite is there to get a job done first. I’m not expecting everyone to down tools every five minutes because I need another shot, and I’m pretty comfortable working around people, tools, noise, dust and whatever else is going on.
The marketing side matters too. While I’m shooting, I’m constantly thinking about where the content could actually be useful later.
And because Project Stories involve getting people mic’d up and talking while they’re working, being able to read the person and the environment matters.
I don’t need your team to suddenly become content creators for the day. I just need them to know their job. I’ll handle the rest.
One project. A lot more to show for it.
By the time the job is finished, you’re not trying to wring months of marketing out of one before-and-after post.
You’ve got content showing the work as it happened, your expertise in context, the people behind it and the finished result — across professional photos, video clips, finished Reels and a longer Project Story film.
One properly documented example of what hiring your business actually looks like.
