Swinburne University X ACMI | Melbourne Photography
About the event
I recently photographed the Creative Intersection exhibition at ACMI for Swinburne University—their end of year showcase featuring student work across multiple creative disciplines. From gaming and photography to interior design and beyond, this exhibition highlighted the breadth of talent coming out of Swinburne’s creative programs.
The event spanned three different areas throughout ACMI, with networking sessions, formal speeches, and student presentations happening throughout the night. As an event photographer, I captured the presentations, the interactions between students and industry professionals, and the exhibition work on display.
University events like this require a photographer who can move between different spaces and capture both the formal moments, speeches and presentations, and the candid moments that happen in between. The Creative Intersection exhibition brought together students, faculty, and industry guests, creating plenty of opportunities for authentic event photography.
If you’re looking for a photographer for university events, exhibition openings, corporate functions, or educational showcases in Melbourne, I work to document the full scope of your event. From multi-room venues like ACMI to more intimate settings, I capture the presentations, networking, and key moments that tell the story of your event.
